OBJECTIVE: To disseminate the information on the current trend, development, food chemistry, food bioactive and health ingredients for the most advanced food science and technology for healthier community.

The food and drink industry is the largest manufacturing sector in ASIA. Research and Development (R&D) is moving rapidly to support functional and healthy food .Food Science and Technologists as well as Nutritionists are progressive by making healthy, tasty and palatable food. Food Science helps make safe, wholesome and nutritious food for today’s consumers. The conference will have both oral and scientific posters presentations.
Food Ingredients Asia Conference 2019 in conjunction with 2nd Joint ACS AGFD – ACS ICSCT Symposium on Agricultural and Food Chemistry organize during 12th–13th September 2019, is pleased to invite you to gain knowledge with the theme of “Advances in Food and Ingredient Chemistry for Healthy Living”. The conference will provide opportunity to meet and share experiences as well as strengthen networking among international food scientists and scientists in related fields from academia, government and food industries. The conference covers topics relating to :
Session 1 : Food Bioactive and Health
Session 2 : Food Analysis
Session 3 : Food safety
Session 4 : Flavor chemistry

CALL FOR ABSRTACT

You are invited to submit an abstract(s) and full paper(s) for an oral and poster presentation at Food Ingredients Asia Conference 2019 in conjunction with 2nd Joint ACS AGFD – ACS ICSCT Symposium on Agricultural and Food Chemistry during 12th–13th September 2019, under the theme of “Advances in Food and Ingredient Chemistry for Healthy Living”. Each abstract must be original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under responsibility of the authors). The conference has an abstract submission in different categories as following.
Session 1 Food Bioactive and Health
Session 2 Food Analysis
Session 3 Food safety
Session 4 Flavor chemistry

One registration account is limited to a maximum of 2 papers.

Abstract Guideline
• Use English language (American spelling and usage) and the SI system for measurements and units.
• The title should clearly define the topic and contain no abbreviations.
• List ALL authors. Spell out completely the names of all authors using full first and last names.
• Single paragraph abstract is required.
• Abstract text not exceeding 350 words, define all acronyms and abbreviations; do not cite references.
• The abstract should be informative and detailed. The content of the abstract should contain:
o Introduction: explain the importance of the topic and the objective(s) of your work.
o Materials and Methods: State what was done and how it was done.
o Results: A summary of the main findings. Abstract without any results will not be considered.
o Conclusion: Indicate the significance and application of the research findings.
o Provide up to 5 key words for indexing purposes.

REGISTRATION

Registration Fees: inclusive of conference materials, lunch and refreshment for two days.
– Non member: = Baht 6,000 (7% VAT included)
– FoSTAT, FIFSTA & ACS Member: = Baht 4,500 (7% VAT included)
– Student: = Baht 2,500 (7% VAT included)
Remark: – Bank charges must be paid by the delegate

Conference Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be in writing. Refunds will not be made for cancellation received after September 1, 2017. Alternate parties may be substituted at any time without penalty.
